State-Wide: Western North Carolina Quilters Guild. Western North Carolina Quilters Guild. Founded in 1982, we are a group of more than 200 men and women who are interested in quilting. Our skills range from beginner to professional, but we all enjoy a good time, and we are good at sharing and helping one another. We meet on the third Thursday of each month with alternating day and evening meetings. Guests are welcome. A meeting schedule is available on our web site. Stanly County Three Rivers Quilt Guild: We’re a small quilt guild of about 29 members. We meet the 4th Tuesday of each month at 7:00 pm at Christ Episcopal Church fellowship hall in Albemarle, NC located at 428 Pee Dee Ave. Yearly dues are $12. We do a block of the month, challenges, special programs, and workshops, as well as some guest speakers. We make cuddle quilts for organizations and projects during the year. The Mountain Laurel
Quilt Guild has members from Watauga, Avery, Ashe and surrounding
counties. We have about 60 members who pay $20/year in dues. We meet the
first Tuesday of each month at 1:00 for a business meeting, member show &
share, and an educational program. The 3rd Tuesday of each month
(10:30-3:00) we have a workshop or make donation quilts. All events are held
at the Senior Center Building, 132 Poplar Creek Connector, Boone, NC on the
2nd floor. Visitors are welcome.
Quilters. Burlington Carousel Quilters. We welcome new members who pay
$25/year in dues. We meet year round on the second Tuesday evening of each
month. Social time begins at 6:30 and our program at 7. Our goal is to
educate members, support charities, and share the beauty of quilting with

Alamance Piecemakers Quilt Guild. The APQG was established in 1987, and we
have approximately 65 members. We meet at the Elmira Community Center
located at 810 Wicker St., Burlington, NC 27215. We meet the third Wednesday

The Mountain Piecemakers meet the 2nd Tuesday of each month at the Burnsville Town Center at 6:30 Pm. We do a raffle quilt each year and also a quilt show the first week-end in August at the Town Center downtown Burnsville. Contact [email protected] for more information.
Cabarrus Quilt Guild. Cabarrus Quilters Guild. Meetings are held on

Beach Border Quilters. We have about 50 members and our dues are $12 per year
due January 1. We meet the second Friday of the month at the Brunswick House
in Brunswick Plantation. We have a block of the month and fat quarters swaps,
challenges, periodic quilt shows, sit and sews for charity and a variety of

Cashiers Quilters meets at St. Jude Catholic Church, 3011 Hwy 64 E, Sapphire, NC.
We are a group of about 30 full-time and seasonal members with all levels of expertise, from novice to advanced, who love to get together once a week, share our talents and learn from each other! Dues are currently $20/yr. We gather for lunch at 11:30 every Wednesday at a local restaurant (schedule on the website) and adjourn to our meeting place until 2 pm or whenever. Planned activities include various workshops presented by outside experts or our own members, field trips, and making flannel lap blankets for the home-bound in Jackson County. When we don’t have a planned activity, we bring our own handwork to work on and to share and we visit! Individual members participate in QOV, church-sponsored prayer blanket ministries, and other community-based activities. We sponsor a show during the October Fall Leaf Festival in the even-numbered years that features our members’ creations, a boutique and a bake sale. Guests are always welcome! Charlotte Quilters’ Guild meets First Wednesdays 7 pm @ Tyvola Senior Center, 2225 Tyvola Rd. Charlotte, NC 28210. Guest Fee $5. We have 200 members & offer National speakers & workshops. North Carolina Piedmont Art Quilt Guild. We are a small membership and due are
$45 dollars every 2nd month. College level teaching art quilt guild. Art and
designs principles taught as well as twenty or more art quilt techniques. We meet every third Thursday 6 pm to 9 pm at Firestation #7 in Concord. Learn how to create your own designs. We have over a 60 current book library for use and embellishment tools to borrow. This is great exposure to learn art, design, and quilt techniques. We also teach sewing machine basics, thread and needle background.
Cabarrus Quilters Guild We have about 85 members who pay $30.00 a year in dues. we meet on the second Monday of every month. We have guild challenges, raffle quilt and donate cuddle quilts to CVAN every year. We have an annual quilt show Splash of Color . The Durham-Orange Quilters’ Guild meets on the third Monday of every month at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 940 Charmichael St, Chapel Hill, NC 27514. Social hour starts at 6:30 and the meeting starts at 7:00. All levels welcome from beginner to expert. See our website for more information.
Durham African American Quilt Circle Meets 1st Saturday of each month at

Triangle Modern Quilt Guild For residents of the Triangle area of NC that are interested in non-traditional, modern quilting. Meetings are the second Sunday of each month at Spoonflower, 2810 Meridian Parkway #176, Durham. We have approx. 80 members. Dues are $25/year and includes membership in the National Modern Quilt Guild. We have monthly programs, project swaps, and quilt challenges throughout the year.
Colonial Quilt Lovers meets 1st and

Quilters. We are a pretty laid back group of 25-30 folks who meet at
1:00 PM on the third Tuesday of each month at the Foothills Arts Council
on the corner of church and Market streets. We have a program, snacks,

We have over 160 members who pay $20 in dues per year. We meet twice a month
at 9:30 am on the second Monday and at 6:30 pm on the third Monday of each
month at the First Presbyterian Church in Franklin. We have classes for

Piedmont Quilters’ Guild. We meet at 6:45 on the 2nd Thursday of each month at Starmount

Comments: Our guild has about 50 members. Regular membership is $25 (16 to 69 years) or $10 (70 years or more). We meet the second Thursday of the month at Starmount Presbyterian Church located at 3501 West Market Street, Greensboro NC. We have a business meeting, show & tell and a program. Gate City Quilt Guild. We
have about 90 members who pay $35 per year in dues. We meet at 6:30pm with
program following at 7:00pm on the first Thursday of the month at New Garden

quilt related topics, a charity sewing group, workshops to make items for
the quilt show, and Sit ‘n’ Sew days. Our quilt show is every other year and

Catawba Valley Quilters Guild.
We have about 90 members paying $20 a year in dues. They may attend either or
both the morning meeting at 10:00 AM or the evening meeting at 7:00 PM on the
2nd Thursday each month at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church. We have monthly
programs and community projects, with a show every three years.
High Point Quilt Guild meets the 2nd Thursday of each month, at 6:15 pm, at Westchester Baptist Church, 135 Westchester Drive, High Point, NC. BOM,
Round Robin monthly. Charity quilts benefit Hayworth Cancer Center, High
Point. We produce a raffle quilt yearly, and hold a quilt show every other
year in the odd year.
The Patchworkers Quilting Club We meet the first and third Thursdays of each

The Heart of the Triad Quilt Guild was formed in 1996 by Terri LaRue. Our first meeting was held at Quilting Peace by Piece. We usually meet at the Sedge Garden Recreation Center at 401 Robbins Rd, Winston-Salem. Lincoln Quilters meets the 3rd Thursday of each month at 7:00 pm at the Citizens Center, 115 West Main St., Lincolnton. Davie Quilter’s Guild meets on the 3rd Monday night of each month at

Sweet Union Quilt Guild
meets the 3rd Friday of each month. 7:00pm Monroe Fire Station # 4, 3903 Old Charlotte Hwy, Monroe, NC 28110. We are 2 year young and growing every month. We currently have 45 members. We offer different programs every month. Either presented by one of our members or an outside speaker. We are always working on charity items that we donate to our local organizations. The Mooresville Centerpiece Quilters Guild meets the second Monday of
every month at the South Iredell Senior Center from 10am – Noon. We have
over a 100 members. We have a full library, silent auction items each
month, fat quarter drawing, classes, trips, and we do a quilt show every

Lake Norman Quilters. We have over 50 members who pay $20 a year in dues.
We meet at 7 pm on the fourth Tuesday of the month at Centre Presbyterian
Church in Mooresville. We do a variety of group activities and have a show

The Crystal Coast Quilters’ Guild (CCQG) has ~70 paid members. Membership dues are $25 a year and applications are available on the CCQG website. Members meet weekly on Tuesday mornings for drop-in sewing from 9 am to 11:30 am, and monthly on the third Thursday at 6 pm at the Shepherd of the Sea Lutheran Church, 201 E. Fort Macon Road, Atlantic Beach, North Carolina. The goals of the Guild are to build and maintain a productive and creative environment for all who are interested in quilting and to provide education through lectures, teaching, workshops, and an online quilt reference library. Guild activities include block of the months, quilt challenges, trunk shows, workshops, trips, an annual raffle quilt, donation quilts for local children and veteran organizations, and local quilt exhibits and/or shows. Burke Quilter’s Guild. We have about 65 members who pay $20/year in dues.
We meet the 4th Monday of a month at Morganton Senior Center north conference
room. We also have Theropy Days the 2nd Monday of the month for hands on education. We have an active community quilts program and an annual show. Contact [email protected] for more information.
Surry Quilters Guild. We have 55
members, dues are $20.00 annually over 70 free. We meet the Third Thursday
of the month at 6:30pm at First Presbyterian Church Mt Airy . We have
refreshments, business meeting, show and tell and a program. We have an
annual retreat to Banner Elk NC. We also do challenge quilts, mystery
quilts, and have done row by row challenges. Our Quilt show is during the
Autumn Leaves festival in Mt Airy NC the second weekend in October. We have
a program to honor veterans with Quilts of Valor in November, we do charity
quilts for Brenner’s Children Hospital Premies, Cancer Quilts for people
undergoing Chemo, pillow cases for Conker Cancer Children.
Mt. Gilead Quilters. We have a small group of members who pay $12 a
year dues. We meet at 9am the second Saturday of the month downtown Mt.
Gilead, NC. We have classes, block of the month,
fabric swaps, a yearly raffle quilt to benefit a local charity and we
exhibit at our local museum every odd year. We also have a midweek morning
group which meets 9am the second Wednesday of eachmonth. Contact

A Gathering of Quilters meets every Thursday at the
First United Methodist Church in downtown Murphy, NC. We currently have around
45 quilters. There are no dues, no officers-just come and visit a while or
bring a project on which to work. Most bring a lunch. From 10-2 usually but if

Southern Appalachian Modern Quilt Guild meets the second Thursday of the month, January through November at 5:30 PM @ Bless My Stitches Quilt Shop located at 498 Hill Street in Murphy, NC 28906. We are a fun and enthusiastic community of modern quilters that formed an official Modern Quilt Guild, serving the tri-state area of NC, TN and GA. Currently we have 28 members and our dues are $30 yearly. Each month we have a teaching segment exploring another avenue of modern quilting, a challenge, Sew-and-Tell and wrap up with a Q&A time and of course, share tasty treats throughout the evening! The RiverWalk Quilt Guild. We meet once a month on the second
Thursday in the month at the Senior Center at 6:00p.m. Our dues are $12.00
yearly. We have a new project each month, for class. Me make donation quilts

Lumber River Quilters Guild. We have 17 members. Dues are $25 a year and we meet the first Tuesday of every month at 1:00 at the Burnt Swamp Baptist Building at 450 Prospect Road in Pembroke. Triangle Modern Quilt Guild (TMQG) is an affiliate guild of the Modern Quilt Guild which means membership in our guild also gives you access to all of the resources – webinars, patterns and more – available on the MQG website. As a guild, monthly meetings are held on the 2nd Sunday of each month from 3-5. (There is no meeting in December.) Tar River Piece Makers Quilting Guild. We
have about 90 – 100 members who pay 15.00 a year in dues. We meet at 9 am on
the 2nd Saturday of the month at the Rocky Mount Imperial Center. The address

Salisbury Rowan Quilt Guild meets the third Thursday of the month
(except June and July) at the Rufty Holmes Senior Center at 2 pm. Dues are $10
Salisbury Rowan Quilters’ Guild. The guild has two chapters Sunny Days meets
the third Thursday of each month 9:30 am is “sit and sew” to work on your
current project and often includes a demo. The regular meeting is at 1pm and
includes a program and show and tell . Sunny Days community service project
is quilts for children at the local Family Crisis Center.
Starry Nights meets on the second Thursday of each month. 6:30 pm social and
meeting at 7pm including a program and show and tell. The Starry Nights
community service project is making quilts for area veterans Dues are $20
per year to join one group and $30 to join both. The guild holds a quilt
show every other year (even years) in May.
Hearts and Hands ECA Quilters Guild. We meet at 12 noon on the first Sat. of the month. We also have sew days from 9 to 5 on the first and third Sat. Meeting place is the McSwain Extension Center, 2420 Tramway Rd. in Sanford. Community service quilts share our skills. Quilt classes help us learn new techniques. Quilt shows show off our quilts every other year.

Foothills Quilters Guild meets at 7:00 P.M. on the fourth Thursday of each
month at Ascension Lutheran Church on N. LaFayette Street, Shelby, NC. Dues
are $20.00 per year and visitors are welcome. We have 100 members, have
a bi-annual quilt show and raffle quilt. We have fat quarter swaps, secret
pal, workshops and our service projects are making quilts for a home for

Sandhills Quilters Guild We
have over 110 members currently and our annual dues are $25. We meet the
third Tuesday of the month at 9:30 AM at the First Baptist Church in
Southern Pines, located at 200 E. New York St. There is abundant parking in
the church lots and lawn. We have a variety of educational programs,
sometimes given by nationally known teachers and other times by members. We
make and donate quilts to a number of nursing homes, Quilts of Valor,
Habitat for Humanity and other area worthy causes. In September of even
numbered years we host a quilt show at the beautiful and historic Pinehurst
Fair Barn. Recently we have begun evening and Saturday bees for our members

Three Rivers Quilt Guild We are a small guild with 29 members, but
we get a lot done! We meet on the 4th Tuesday of each month at 7:00pm at
Highlands Baptist Church in the little town of New London, NC. Dues are $5.00

Sneads Ferry, Onslow County.
Patchwork Squares has about 25 members who pay 50 cents per meeting. We meet
twice a month, the first and third Wednesdays at 9:30 a.m. at the Sneads Ferry
Presbyterian Church, have a workshop, eat lunch, business meeting, and show
and tell. We have had two quilt raffles in the last year. Our charity project
is the Barium Springs Childrens Home for abused and neglected children in
Statesville, NC. We make quilts for the children, lap size, and baby size for
the nursery, and so far have made over 100. We have hosted two beginners
classes and welcome new members or visitors. The group has just started on a
new national project making commerative quilts for the fallen heroes of the
Iraq war who resided in North Carolina, who number almost 40 at this time. We

High Country Quilt Guild

of monthly presentations, classes as well as an annual show.
Pins and Needles African American Quilting Group.
